Dear Debra. I had the pleasure of seeing your work and meeting you for the first time a few years ago at the wholebead show in Vancouver. Your designs are beyond words. At that time after talking about beads and making jewellry you were so very kind as to give me some tips about good places to buy certain beads and what type of wire to use for bracelets. You even took the time to dig out your beading wire and give me a sample. I was so grateful for that. How sweet and kind you are.
I noticed you went to Ecuador this year. My husband and I are travelling there next year. It's been a lif-long dream to travel there and to the Galapagos.
I've been collecting beads for a number of years and doing jewelry and hope to retire this year from office work and make this passion a part time job in our retirement. I am waiting to hear from Stephanie and Kerri their newsletterabout courses in lampwork beads. Thought I would give it a try and see if I can transform my own ideas into beautiful beads. It must be wonderful to create your own designs. I love to work with beads from other artists and work them into my designs. I hope to see you at a bead show soon. Any shows planned?
